On Palm Sunday according to the old religious custom, the Christians worldwide celebrate the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, welcomed as the Son of God.
Palm Sunday is a great and joyful Christian holiday, which always falls on Sunday, a week before Easter. In Bulgaria it is called 'Cvetnica' (Palm Sunday). On this day in the church are blessed willow branches, which the believers relate home for health. It is a celebration of flowers and flowering and all people with names of plants celebrate their name day.
