Scarlet ladybug (ladybird) on nettle leaf, with black spots on the wings. It belongs to family of beetles Coccinellidae, despite that these small insects, ranging from 1 mm to 10 mm, are not true beetles. Theirs colours are varying in yellow, orange, or scarlet and are widespread worldwide. The ladybug is a favorite insect of the children and in many cultures is considered lucky.
