Beschreibung:

A magnificent snow sculpture of Japanese castle in Odori Park, during the 63-rd annual Snow Festival in Sapporo, at Hokkaido island, Japan, called Yuki Matsuri (February 2012). The huge architectural models of temples, cathedrals and replicas of world famous monuments are carved from solid snow blocks by soldiers of the Japan's Self-Defence Forces.
