A pair of Pink Lady's Slipper orchids (Cypripedium acaule), also known as moccasin flowers, native to eastern North America.
These orchids are easily recognized by their unique, pink pouch-shaped flower that acts as a trap for pollinators.
Due to their slow growth, it can take up to 10 years for a seed to produce its first flower and specific habitat requirements, these flowers are protected and harvesting them from the wild is illegal.
