Beschreibung:

The Edinburgh Castle behind the Ross Fountain, located at the west end of Princes Street Gardens, a public park in the centre of Edinburgh, capital of Scotland. The ornate fountain from the mid-19th century with iron figures of mermaids and females depicting the science, the arts, the poetry and industry, was bought in 1862 for the City of Edinburgh by the philanthropist and gun-maker Daniel Ross.
