The east facade of Buckingham Palace in London, England, which is a home and a primary residence of the British monarch and will be used for the wedding reception of Prince William and Kate Middleton on 29 April 2011. It was constructed by Edward Blore in 1850 and remodelled in 1913, by Sir Aston Webb to the present appearance. The core of today's palace is the large townhouse, built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1705.
